| It is written, "Love one another." If you live in love you live in God. Christ set the tone for brotherhood. Before Him the rule was "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." It was the expression of the instinctive and animal nature. But man has a spiritual nature and he can love his brother because there is a divine spark within the heart. Love is a healing power. You cannot approach the temple if you do not love your mother and father and brother. We are all living in the same cosmic being. We are sustained by the same love and light. Thus love is the divine element that opens the way to true freedom and pure joy. |
