A Meditation

Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Two weeks ago we spoke about freeing Lazarus so that the soul can come through. I saw a great example of this on TV last Sunday. Mother Teresa of Calcutta was interviewed. She gave up everything for the Christ until she became Christlike. She did not do this by preaching but by the path of sacrifice and serving the poor in the slums of Calcutta. She picked up a dying woman out of the mud in the street who was partly chewed up by rats. She carried her to the hospital. Everyone she looked at was the Christ. Every act of service was for the Christ working through her. She walked hand in hand with the Christ until she became free of her personality, and the cloak of the Christ came upon her. She became the vehicle for His spirit. In her great humility, she is an example to the world.

Mantra:
Through Christ I become a free and radiant being.
